A Christmas Mikey is the nineteenth episode of the first season of Kappa Mikey.

Synopsis[]

LilyMu[]

The episode starts in a snowy background, with Guano running from Gonard. Gonard fires a laser, and burned Guano's tail. Mikey then arrives, and drops a ladder from their jet to allow Guano to climb up. However while climbing, Gonard grabs hold of Guano and shoots the jet, causing it to crash into a building. But with the ladder still hangin, this allowed Mikey to use it as a set of monkey bars to get to the other side where Gonard is before the villains starts shooting again. The ladder eventually gets destroyed causing it to become two ropes, when Mikey grabs one, backflip up until he manages to land with both feet onto the ropes. As he run towards Gonard (with a little balancing struggle), Mikey does so making it to the roof until Gonard then throws Guano off the roof, and Mikey breaks one of the ropes and uses it to swing down to catch Guano just in the nick of time. Gonard then tries to make a run for it, but Mikey shoots down the other end of the rope and uses it to capture Gonard. They manage to complete the episode on the first attempt.

A successful shooting

Now offset, the casts and crew celebrate the completion since they were filming the last episode of the season. Everybody was in good mood, especially when Lily comments on how Mikey "didn't destroy the set this time", until Mikey does the usual (when he leans against a camera, tips over and launches Gonard into the air, making him drop his sandwich and himself on Lily, and the Kappa Mikey backdrop falls and breaks on Mikey's head), which Guano doesn't care at all. Mitsuki then reminds them not to wreck the place much in preparations of a Christmas party planned this evening. Mikey passes to come however, as his contract is about to expire, and must negotiate his "new terms" with Ozu for his renewal.

The cast however warns that Ozu always has a case of the “grumpies” during the holidays. A fact proven (except for a dense Mikey) when Ozu then walks into the room, and harasses Yes Man for being jolly in a Christmas tree outfit. At that bad timing in Ozu's office, Mikey discusses his unreasonable terms while Ozu silently staring out the window, seemingly ignoring him. Mikey finally notices and asks Ozu what's wrong which makes Ozu furious and yells at Mikey to leave his office, while also stating Mikey that he was nogreat actor, but only a contest winner "at the right place at the right time", prompting a saddened Mikey to leave (while holding his pants).

The party

At the same time, Mikey returns to the present having realized the error of his wish and his love for LilyMu and his friends. Mikey then runs back to the Christmas party at LilyMu Studios, where he finds the cast unchanged to the happiest of his joys. But the biggest surprise to everyone is Ozu himself, handing out presents to everyone and paying for the party (but secretly fixing the damage he caused with the ghosts, who also attend). Ozu hands out gifts to the LilyMu gang, until he finally presents Mikey with a new contract along with apology for his previous outburst, because Mikey was their "good luck for winning the LilyMu contest".

The party continues with Mikey kissing Mitsuki on the cheek under a mistletoe. Guano has a private talk with Ozu, having heard of Ozu's sad story from the ghosts. Ozu then confirms it, and Guano opens up the jewel in his stomach and pulls out a stuffed bear. Ozu is shocked by this until Guano then removes the head part of his "costume" and gives Ozu a hug (giving the answer that Guano was Ozu's son). The episode happily concludes as the camera rolls up towards the sky, with the Super Gonard balloon floating, and Laurence finally receiving his big golden wings for helping Mikey.
